AGL master for Raspberry Pi 3 (MACHINE = "raspberrypi3")
Hi,
I noticed a recurring bug with AGL master on Raspberry Pi 3. Weston 2.0 fails to start if there is no mouse or keyboard attached:
- Systemd status:
root@raspberrypi3:~# systemctl status -l weston ● weston.service - Weston Wayland Compositor Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/weston.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: failed (Result: core-dump) since Mon 2017-10-09 08:27:29 UTC; 3min 10s ago Process: 5611 ExecStart=/usr/bin/weston --idle-time=0 --tty=1 --log=/run/platform/display/weston.log (code=dumped, s Main PID: 5611 (code=dumped, signal=SEGV) CPU: 121ms Oct 09 08:27:29 raspberrypi3 systemd[1]: Started Weston Wayland Compositor. Oct 09 08:27:29 raspberrypi3 systemd[1]: weston.service: Main process exited, code=dumped, status=11/SEGV Oct 09 08:27:29 raspberrypi3 systemd[1]: weston.service: Unit entered failed state. Oct 09 08:27:29 raspberrypi3 systemd[1]: weston.service: Failed with result 'core-dump'.
- Weston log:
[08:27:29.618] warning: no input devices on entering Weston. Possible causes:
- no permissions to read /dev/input/event*
- seats misconfigured (Weston backend option 'seat', udev device property ID_SEAT)
[08:27:29.618] failed to create input devices
We have already fixed that in the older version of Weston in SPEC-297. I guess it will be something similar.
Best regards,
Leon
