[R-Car M2 PORTER A] Non-working U-boot (https://download.automotivelinux.org/AGL/snapshots/master/latest/porter-nogfx/deploy/images/porter/u-boot-porter-v2013.01.01+gitAUTOINC+b653737dfc-r0.srec) Last modified: 2017-06-06

Hi all,

I found this bug when I download https://download.automotivelinux.org/AGL/snapshots/master/latest/porter-nogfx/deploy/images/porter/u-boot-porter-v2013.01.01+gitAUTOINC+b653737dfc-r0.srec and flash to R-Car M2 PORTER A.

When I turn on board, I get error on terminal:

I find helper and Mr. Jan-Simon (Jan-Simon Möller) suggest I download https://download.automotivelinux.org/AGL/release/chinook/3.0.0/porter-nogfx/deploy/images/porter/u-boot-porter-v2013.01.01+gitAUTOINC+b653737dfc-r0.srec and flash agian. It work OK.

Even with the same git source, chinook vs. dab/master is a different compiler version ( gcc5 vs gcc6). This can cause issues.

1) Unfortunately I do not have any M2 PORTER A board, so I will not be able to test a solution.

2) It's strange, the booth file come from the same git source (b653737dfc).
