This is probably something that can't really be done easily but you can test this by starting weston with --use-pixman and then attempt to start any 3D accelerated client like glmark2, simple-egl and you'd get eglInitialize() to fail.

This means we can't use the RDP backend on rcar3 platform, for weston 10. Weston 13 got GL-renderer support for the RDP backend (presumably it would work with that, but haven't got around that yet).
