It would be worthwhile to switch to the kirkstone/rust-1.70 mixin layer that I have added to the upstream YP meta-lts-mixins repository, as it will help future proof any updates we may want/need to do of the KUKSA.val databroker in Quillback.  It will also do the same for the various vhost device backends for VirtIO that are Rust based, based on my experiments with vhost-device-sound for CES the latest versions in the https://github.com/rust-vmm/vhost-device repository all need 1.70.
