0.5 release is a major release of wireplumber and we are adding quite a lot of feature there.

• Configs are completely refactored
• Hooks and Events are introduced to improve the scheduling. Here is a blog post on it.
• Apart from these major releases there are many other minor features as well.

We are hoping release it in coming weeks and when we release it, it will become the master branch.

AGL will also benefit from many of these features and we want to upgrade AGL to it. we would upgrade AGL and keep the patches ready. This ticket is to track that effort.
