SW/FW update using agl-sota feature

Hi,

I was trying to test agl-sota feature in imx8mq-evk board. I noticed for the latest branch octopus agl-sota feature was absent and also for koi branch the build was failing. Is there a particular branch where I can test this feature.

For koi branch, this was the following build error:

We cannot fix meta-updater (upstream is EOL).

We're open for contributions of an alternative.

Hi !

The Koi release is EOL. Please retry with Lamprey.

Also note that in newer versions the agl-sota feature has been deprecated - as the upstream sota project was shut down back then.

That being said: likely there are board specific parts missing. Look at how the pi4 is done within meta-updater and meta-updater-raspberry . The latter bits might be missing for your board.

If I were you, I'd look into active sota projects (e.g. rauc or swupdate). We're open to contributions for these winking face .
