Description

For tagging commits on the "next" branch that are fixes for building against post-kirkstone Yocto Project releases (i.e. Langdale, Mickledore, etc.) to ease shifting to the next LTS release when it becomes available.

Closing this issue since we have now upgraded to YP scarthgap by pulling in the changes from next branch.  A new issue will be opened to use for post-scarthgap changes on next branch.
