psplash missing on some platforms

      After the migration to kirkstone in master, psplash is not getting pulled in the agl-demo-platform image on h3ulcb-kf and m3ulcb platforms for example

      Discussed internally with Scott - he pointed out a commit - https://git.yoctoproject.org/poky/commit/?id=46d287faa6b72778dbe7652cde71e5def0f94747 - that could be the culprit.
