This used to work before the migration. Does the migration re-write/re-import the username from LFID ? Do we handle UTF-8 along that chain ?

I should note that the workaround is to set the proper characters in gerrit''s displayname if the user would like to resolve the display immediately. It may be some weeks before we get a bug fix implemented for all users.
