A while ago, I had to export weston_output_damage, and that was done in SPEC-3179. Since then, I've been using an alternative way to trigger a view repaint but it might be that that we don't really need an entire weston_output_damage. Also, libweston already exports a weston_output_damage over all outputs. Discussions about weston_output_damage in weston mailing lists/gitlab also exposed some other/further work on this matter which I haven't been able to catch to.

This is mostly a place-holder task at this point, as potential improvements in the compositor.
