Not really sure if this is an improvement or a feature, or even if this qualifies as such.
I have a ILITEK Multi-Touch-V3000 (which is a HDMI like-touchscreen with the touch part going over USB). The screen which has a maximum of 1080p resolution yet it tells to the kernel that it would prefer to use 720p. Obvious I can specify the mode to 1080p manually. Most of the displays I used so far usually, tell the kernel the maximum resolution is the on preferred. This one does not. Question is if it makes sense to "force" it in the compositor or not.
