install some build header for libweston which could tell us before hand if the respective functionality is installed or not.

Integrating to latest version of libweston should have this fixed automatically as it has been resolved in upstream.

Changes have landed into libweston9, which was released today. It will probably take some time until we update to libweston-9 – and one of the changes would be this.
I think we should close this and track it further when updating to latest libweston. @Jan-Simon Moeller do you agree?

So, with https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/c/src/agl-compositor/+/24663 we should be able to use the remoting plug-in but it seems that upstream doesn't expose/install the plugins headers for other users of libweston (outside of libweston)
We therefore should:
