Kingfisher radio support needs updates for pipewire and security changes

Description

ATM the support in the agl-service-radio binding for the radio on the Kingfisher baseboard does not work, it needs the following updates:

  • rework to work with pipewire output instead of the previous loopback provided internally in the 4A softmixer.

  • some udev rules added somewhere to allow the Cogent si_ctl utility and associated scripts to access the sysfs and device files that are now blocked by running as non-root.

Whatever issue you're seeing, it is extremely unlikely to be related to this, which was extremely specific to the Kingfisher daughterboard's I2C attached radio IC.  Please keep the discussion in .

Hi Walt,

We see the same issue with RTL2832U usb dongle (RPi 3), tested with latest icefish 8.9, halibut 8.0.1. On the homescreen, Radio app does not output audio. But audio is working on the command line. Can you please refer us to the correct version of Radio app working on homescreen ? or we miss any configuration?
