The input manager component of the new compositor will require design and implementation.

By default, the input manager should follow the window manager, and route input to the currently-focused window.

However, it should also be able to intercept particular input events, such as physical buttons from regular input or from the CAN bus via the high-level bindings. These events should be able to take any action: window management changes (move a particular window to the top), starting new clients, etc.
