repo: simple local adaptations to manifest for developers to test-drive their changes
Description
Right now it is hard to change the manifest.xml of repo in case of local repositories (outside of the checkout).
Use-case: developer just adding code, needs build to test. Currently you have to hack the built-in manifest or adapt the bblayers manually. This is not simple to do.
We need to find a way to adapt the checkout easily for test builds.
