Push tags for meta-renesas-rcar-gen3 and close this issue. We can create a separate issue for that repo if this gets to be troublesome. Also note that we will not permit this kind of exception in the future.

All in AGL, src and apps follow the convention. But meta-renesas-rcar-gen3 does not follow it.

The templates do not influence this.
Development should happen in master, not in agl-1.0-bsp-1.8.0 as all repositories do.
Release branches will have the names of the release (e.g. blowfish).

The repository should follow the default scheme and use 'master'.
