openivi-html5 fails to start automatically in agl-demo-platform-html5 (AGL master)

Description

Hi,

During some tests on Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 I have noticed that openivi-html5 fails to start automatically in AGL master image agl-demo-platform-html5. The status of the user systemd service openivi-html5.service shows:

I have to continue with some work and tests on Eel so I am leaving this here just as heads up that this issue exists.

Best regards,
Leon

Short-term solution is to make the ivi demo depend on the graphical-qt5 profile.

Ok, so while above 2 commits would work, it would break the structure and dependencies that we envision for the profiles.

From a quick discussion the goal is to have meta-agl-profile-graphical-html5 not depend on qt.

Thus the current dependencies (qtwebkit, homescreen, inputeventmanager) will not work.

AI1: replace qtwebkit with chrome

AI2: replace homescreen (or change/reduce dependencies)

AI3: replace inputeventmanager (or change/reduce dependencies)

The goal is to have a platform for the HTML5 work that is planned.

Likely a side-effect of the layer reorg. I'm now trying with 14065 and 14067 applied.

This revealed that there are dependencies to some components of meta-agl-demo.

Needs to be untangled and put into the proper profile/layer.

On it.

Assign to me.

Won't Fix
