Hi,
As far as I understand there is nothing more to be done for Renesas Porter board at the moment therefore I am closing the issue.

We have seen DMA memory issues only on the aarch64 platforms of the Rcar Gen3 board and on an RaspberryPi with a 4.9 kernel. Since the kernel version of the Porter board is not expected to be upgraded it is safe to not apply those patches for Porter.
But I'm planning to update the driver sources in /src/most/ repo to a recent version anyway. Then those changes will be applied to the sources and the patches will be removed.

: can this stay as-is for porter (does it work w/o the patch) or do you follow-up with a fix ?

Hi,
Jan-Simon has merged the proposed fix in AGL Gerrit 11071 for branch dab. I will port the fix to the master branch and close this issue.

There is an issue with most recipe from meta-agl-demo branch dab (and probably also in master). Following the recently merged Change 10765 the build fails and blocks the successful building of agl-demo-platform for Renesas Porter board:
