Expected: wifi UI reflects status from networkmanager on bootup

Actual: wifi settings UI not in sync with actual status

There is annother effect which I assume caused by the same reason:

      • if the wifi was on previously, enabled and the board rebooted, there is a list of channels cached in the UI.
      • once you switch to the list again after the reboot, the cached list shows-up for a split second. Then the list goes empty. This could be due to a failed query of the wifi - we might not be in sync with the networkmanager state then too ?
