Fullscreen / maximized option for agl-demo-control-panel

XMLWordPrintable

I have gotten to the point where I am able to run agl-demo-control-panel in a dedicated image with Weston.  One thing that I think we ideally need is a fullscreen or maximized by default mode triggered with either a command line or configuration file option.  If it is in the configuration file, the option should be in the "default" section or a new section, it should not be tied to the "preferred-config" mapping used for the server configuration.  What I would like the option to do is:

      • Maximize the window at start up
      • Hide the window controls.  In the dedicated image, the control panel will be the only application running, and it should not be possible to minimize or close it.
      • Disable the curved window corners.  This would avoid needing to worry about the background color showing up in the corners and potentially needing to do some extra stuff in the image build to get a custom Weston configuration file in place to avoid the default background.

For the window corners, if it is not possible to make that dynamic, I would probably prefer dropping the curved window corners altogether in that case.

If you are not going to have time to look at this, please let me know so I can re-assign it to myself to start looking into it.
