Description

Implement and make the documentation of low level related behaviours like:

  • defining CPU affinity

  • establishing namespaces

  • using CGroups

  • ...

This is linked on how the application framework leverage systemd to implement the behaviour.

The application-framework-main provides configuration files that can be tuned to add in generated systemd services the directives that will handle resource control correctly. While doing this some change might be need in the application framework but not big changes, that is my bet.

 This allows to handle cgroups and many well integrated features.

  • OEM Application

  • Tier1 Application

  • Other developers apps

  • Realtime app

  • Critical application (should never be killed, in particular by oom-killer)
