As part of the rework to replace usage of the old app framework bindings, replace usage of the now unmaintained lightmediascanner with Music Player Daemon (mpd), see https://musicpd.org.  This will allow dropping the recipe for lightmediascanner that we have been maintaining, and switch to the regularly updated mpd recipe in meta-openembedded when we switch to YP 3.5/Kirkstone.  As well, since mpd provides playback functionality, the effort to replace agl-service-mediaplayer will be reduced.  There is some potential drawback if members do express interest in building another set of abstracted APIs for separate media scanning and playing, but at present such interest seems to be minimal.
