The meta-virtualization has lxc recipe, but it's not maintained after first release. In dunfell branch, the version of lxc keep at 4.0.1. On the other hand, AGL Instrument Cluster require to LTS maintenance. We will create lxc recipe inside a meta-agl.
We (kudos to Scott) did ask upstream and now lxc is updated to 4.0.6 .
No fork required.

Who said we cannot submit 4.0.6 to meta-virtualization/dunfell ??
We just need to ask the maintainer and collaborate. He'll for sure ask for a patch to be sent then.
So instead of forking lxc , we should update upstream.

The meta-virtualization is keeping lxc 4.0.1. Current master branch is usinf lxc 4.0.6, it's not backport to dunfell branch. Yocto dunfell is LTS version, but meta-virtualization dunfell branch is not LTS version. It's big issue. Who can backport it ?
Another issue; I think, I will use liblxc and libnl in container management daemon. In this case, must fix this issue. https://github.com/lxc/lxc/issues/3485
