Required Process for Customising agl-demo UI for raspberry pi 3 with Custom Widgets

Description

We Created a sample application for gpio toggling for  raspberry pi 3 board in qt and were able to install the gpiotoggle.wgt in agl demo ui but the required hardware interaction on clicking the gpio widget is not happening. So,looking  for a solution that makes us to integrate our custom apps into the AGL-DEMO UI and works with neccessary functionality.

Any information regarding the widget source files would be of great help.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the reply.
We are using HDMI connected display monitor, it's not a touch screen but a normal PC monitor. We select AGL icons via USB mouse connected to RPi3.
Do you see any dependency issues with Display and application running on AGL weston ivi shell l?
