Wifi and Bluetooth are softblocked by rfkill on boot

Description

Right after booting guppy 703 on m3ulcb, bluetooth and wifi are softblocked which and cannot be enabled from the Settings screen.

Unblocking them with rfkill unblock wifi/bluetooth makes settings screen and connectivity run fine.

Hi Edi, thanks for testing.

So it means that we may have a regression in 7.0.3. Am I right ?

But we should find a way to reproduce the issue... otherwise it won't be possible to investigate.

Hey , so on a couple first-boots the issue is not observed in gg7.0.2.

Yeah, no problem, however I won't have M3 available until next week to test it. I'll reply back as soon as I have results.

Indeed, this seems a bit strange.

I propose one last try on your side before we decide what to do with this ticket: could you please test with a GG 7.0.2 image (BSP 3.9) ?

Depending on the results, we have two options:

  • on multiple boots, this never fails: so we have an issue in 7.0.3 => we should probably keep this ticket open and investigate more (also because we may hit the same issue on HH)

  • on multiple boots, you have the same behaviour as 7.0.3: so this is probably not caused by the BSP upgrade => let's close this ticket as non reproducible/not resolved and reopen later if needed
