Great, I am glad to hear that. I suggest we close this ticket since we hijacked the topic it was initially open for - hh7992 - and the issue is fixed in the latest tags in halibut branch.

thank you very much.  UP2 can play music/radio successfully.

do you fix the smack labeling with chsmack -a _ /etc/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf after you edit the file?

also you can skip the reboot of the up2, just do systemctl restart pipewire@1001 - at least this works for me.

 , thank you very much, here are my test steps:

step1: test

intel-corei7-64:/media# aplay -D hw:0,7 crash.wav
Playing WAVE 'crash.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Stereo

result:  crash.wav play successfully, sound output from UP2

step2: change device in wireplumber.conf

intel-corei7-64~# vi /etc/wireplumber/wireplumber.conf
"default-playback-device": <"hw:0,7">,
"default-capture-device": <"hw:0,7">,

step3:

restart UP2, play music / radio, but no sound output

Is there anything wrong?
