Steps to reproduce problem with a local version of doc website :
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/automotive-grade-linux/docs-webtemplate/master/setupdocs.sh
mkdir docs-webtemplate
bash setupdocs.sh --directory=docs-webtemplate
bash setupdocs.sh
make clean serve
In another terminal/console:
cd docs-webtemplate make linkchecker
Linkchecker is not working well and report 132264 links and 632 errors.
Statistics: Downloaded: 39.8MB. Content types: 2142 image, 100773 text, 0 video, 0 audio, 10761 application, 8 mail and 18580 other. URL lengths: min=14, max=157, avg=81. That's it. 132264 links in 1150 URLs checked. 0 warnings found. 632 errors found. The same test on openSuse 15.0 host report 25 errors.
Statistics: Downloaded: 32.8MB. Content types: 281 image, 680 text, 0 video, 0 audio, 32 application, 2 mail and 1756 other. URL lengths: min=14, max=157, avg=90. That's it. 2751 links in 2752 URLs checked. 0 warnings found. 25 errors found. Stopped checking at 2019-05-21 09:48:39+002 (5 minutes, 43 seconds)
