audio-4a service crashing after pairing with a bluetooth audio source

Description

After booting the AGL master branch, audio plays until a bluetooth source is connected.
The audio-4a service crashes, audio stops playing and the service cannot be restarted successfully because it segfaults. 

Affected boards

  • Minnowboard Turbot B

  • Renesas m3ulcb

  • UP Squared 2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Boot

  2. Play any audio file from removable media

  3. Turn on bluetooth

  4. Pair with mobile device (CAT S60 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 were used for testing)

  5. Connect to paired bluetooth device

, no the issue is not reproducible anymore and the audio service is not crashing in this way anymore.

Hi,

We have 2 issues here.

The fact that 4a cannot be restarted is a known one, and Mark Farudgia is working on it.

Now, the abort() issue.

I am not able to reproduce it on master branch. But it is something that has happened in the past, and that has been fixed already:
