Cannot stablish TLS connections to any website

Description

I'm getting this error from the browser when trying to open any https website:
Nov 08 10:55:38 raspberrypi3 afbd-browser@-0c4c9bb[1288]: [1292:1311:1108/105538:ERROR:ssl_client_socket_impl.cc(1141)] handshake failed; returned -1, SSL error code 1, net_error -107

The same problem can be found when launching a webapp that has access to the internet, e.g. Youtube:

Reproduced on a Raspberry Pi 3.

This is not failing for Marlin, using rpi4 or qemu.

Note this is different from the problem when the DHCP server in LAN does not provide an NTP server.

I checked it's not the same as https://lf-automotivelinux.atlassian.net/browse/SPEC-1925#icft=SPEC-1925, setting the correct date on the board doesn't fix the issue.
