The bluetooh manager reports the device profile options in term of UUID just like listed in the bluetooth specification. That means that clients apps must all decode it by themselves.
An audio application, needing to talk to bluez-alsa, must provide the sound profile (for instance, PROFILE="a2dp" or '"sco")
Having the profiles decoded by the bluetooth manager would be smarter for client applications.
