The Automotive Message Broker offers a framework that exposes vehicle data in a well-defined API and serves as the foundation for the development of the W3C Automotive Web API. Each and every car manufacturer also has a number of signals that are ‘private’ or specific to their lines of vehicle. This project proposes to define and implement a mechanism that would allow to extend AMB’s current API set by adding private APIs without modifying the code source of AMB.
