Description

Create a Linux based Open Source version of the WISMOBI application.

Background:
WISMOBI is an Android based Navigation app created by Hitachi. This project will create an open source Linux based version of the app.

We have pulished the source code of navigation demo app:

Is there a project update available for the Advisory Board Meeting next week? Are smaller projects we can break this up into for the Navi EG?

We have pulished the source code of navigation demo app:
https://github.com/gpsnavi/gpsnavi-agl

This contains recipe to build the navigation app, which can be added to AGL source.
(It might be better to merge this into AGL code base.)

Please see README to run the app.

We are planning to split the application into 2 parts – navigation core library and user interface app. But we are not sure it can be done by next release.
We are trying to make the library reusable from other apps, but the API is not well defined yet.

Title of the issue changed to "Navigation Core Project". Will this project now encompass a broader scope to include a generic navigation API that can be reused for other navigation apps?
